Luciah is an Executive Assistant by profession and the current President of the Lesotho Secretaries Association (LSA). She rose through the ranks from a typist to becoming an Executive Assistant. She started working for the Government of Lesotho as Typist in 1989; she got some opportunities to attend short courses to upgrade herself; got promoted to Senior Copy Typist. She started her career journey at the Magistrate’s Court in the district of Mokhotlong then was transferred to Leribe Magistrate Court from there she worked at the Judicial Commissioners Court. She then proceeded to the High Court of Lesotho (known as the PALACE OF JUSTICE). It was at the High Court where she served as a Recorder.
In 2006 she left the Courts and served as the Personal Secretary/Assistant at the Ministry of Tourism Environment and Culture. In 2014 another door opened for her and she got promoted and was transferred to the Ministry of Mining whereby she served as Executive Secretary/Assistant before she proceeded to the Ministry of Energy and Meteorology in 2019. She has several years of experience with different entities where she served as a trained Executive Assistant. She wanted more for her career and she decided to further her studies by acquiring the Advanced Diploma in Management Studies. She was elected the Deputy President of the Lesotho Secretaries Association in 2017 and in 2019 she had to take over after the resignation of the President.
