Rodah Ogoma

Rodah is a lawyer, mother, daughter, sister, friend, mentor, human and animal rights promoter/defender. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya school of law and a Masters in Law from Lewis and Clark College, USA.

With 21 years of dedicated public service, she has served as a state and prosecution counsel in both the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Currently, she is the Director of the Prosecution Training Institute located in Loresho, Nairobi. She has had an opportunity to serve as an advisor to the Government of Kenya in various forums, including the Human Rights Council, the International Committee against Torture and the Convention on International Trade against Endangered Species of world, fauna and flora.

 

Rodah thrives in an environment where she is holding another’s hand and holds true to the saying that “the youth are the future of tomorrow”. She believes that mentoring young people is a divine responsibility and the greatest contribution to making the world a better and safer place for her two teenage children who are both candidates now.
